Clients usually come to me for one of four things.
WordPress and WooCommerce repairs
Errors, white screens and broken updates after a PHP or plugin change. Cart and checkout failures. Elementor layouts that break on mobile. I read the error before I change code and I keep what works working.
Speed, measured
Slow loads traced to their real cause, usually images, caching and plugin bloat. You get before and after numbers every time, not adjectives.
PHP upgrades without drama
5.x to 8.x on single sites and on multi-site portfolios. Themes and plugins audited first, a rollback plan agreed before the first file changes.
Symfony and Vue applications
The other half of my work, and not the focus of this page: custom applications, EasyAdmin panels, price scrapers that export to Excel, and internal tools teams open every day. One of them replaced thousands of hours of manual price research for an e-commerce team. I also do the unglamorous end: bug fixing and query tuning in large legacy codebases.
How I work
- Scope agreed in writing before I start.
- I tell you when a rewrite is not worth it.
- I decline work I cannot do well.
Common questions
What does a WordPress repair usually involve?
I read the error before changing code, reproduce the problem, and fix the cause rather than the symptom. Most repairs are white screens after an update, broken Elementor layouts, lost admin access, or a cart that stopped accepting orders.
How do you make a site faster?
Measure first, then fix what the measurement points at. In practice that is images, caching and plugin bloat. You get a before and after number, not an opinion.
Can you upgrade a site from PHP 5 to PHP 8?
Yes, on single sites and on multi-site portfolios. Themes and plugins are audited first and a rollback plan is agreed before the first file changes.
How do I hire you?
Through Upwork, so the contract, escrow and reviews stay in one place. Send the project through the Upwork profile and I will reply with scope and a fixed price or an hourly estimate. If you would rather not use Upwork, email me and tell me what you need.
